AJ Styles recently praised Dominik Mysterio's remarkable growth in WWE.

AJ Styles reflected on Dominik Mysterio's transformation from Rey Mysterio's son into one of the company's most successful characters.

Dominik Mysterio's rise began after he turned on his father and embraced the Dirty Dom gimmick.

Speaking on The Phenomenally Retro Podcast, AJ Styles praised Dominik Mysterio for creating his own identity and evolving into one of WWE's top characters.

He said, “He grew that mustache out and freaking rocking the mullet. Does it better than anybody. His character development and everything that he’s put into it, it works.”

Recently, reports indicated that some people within WWE are frustrated with the lack of direction for Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan.

Despite those reports, Dominik remains in a major spot as he is scheduled to face Oba Femi in the King of the Ring semifinals on WWE RAW.

AJ Styles continued, “I’ve said this before. When he first got there, I was like, ‘Oh, I don’t know. I don’t know.’ Then he just blows everybody away. Once he turned on his dad, he turned it all the way up and hasn’t looked back since.”

The AAA Mega Championship is currently held by Dominik Mysterio, showcasing his success in the company.
