Alex Márquez has withdrawn from the MotoGP Czech Grand Prix.

The Spaniard had qualified 14th on the grid but decided not to push his luck after a violent crash at Barcelona.

Gresini Ducati rider Alex Márquez cut short his return to MotoGP action at the Czech Grand Prix.

He had approached the Czech round on a "practice by practice" basis after his crash.

Alex Márquez's withdrawal allows him a couple of extra days to heal before the next race at Assen.
