Alphonso Davies Reveals Ethnicity

Alphonso Davies is a Canadian international with Liberian ethnicity.

Born on November 2, 2000, in the Buduburam Refugee Camp in Ghana, he rose to become one of the world's top left-backs.

Davies' parents, Debeah Davies and Victoria Davies, escaped the Second Liberian Civil War and were granted refugee status in Canada.

He was five years old when the family settled in Edmonton, Alberta, where he discovered organized soccer.
