Brad Keselowski shuts down Ford partnership rumors with RFK Racing

2026-07-13 · Brad Keselowski · Club News

Brad Keselowski shut down online chatter on Thursday, making clear RFK Racing remains locked into its Ford partnership for years to come.

On X, Keselowski posted that RFK Racing has a **multi-year agreement** with Ford Racing and leadership’s commitment to return the team to title contention. “Any speculation else-wise makes for great internet talk but, it is not based on anything real,” he wrote on July 10.

Dodge’s planned return to the NASCAR Cup Series in 2027 sparked fresh debate over which teams might join the manufacturer. Social accounts floated RFK Racing as a candidate, citing Keselowski’s past ties to Dodge. “Rammin is Racing” argued Kaulig Racing would instead become Dodge’s flagship team.

Keselowski drove Dodge for Team Penske from 2010 to 2012, winning the 2012 Cup championship-the first for Dodge since Richard Petty in 1975. Ford replaced Dodge at Penske in 2013, a relationship that ended when Keselowski left after 2021 to co-own RFK Racing.

Keselowski’s No. 6 scored one win at Darlington in May 2024. With Ford’s backing secured, the focus shifts to rebuilding toward contention under the long-term deal.

Keselowski has raced full-time in Cup since 2008 and turns 42 this August. He won his lone Cup title in 2012 and claimed 35 career victories across 519 starts.
