Brad Marchand Scores 2, Wins Game in Overtime for Panthers

Brad Marchand scored twice, including the game-winning goal in overtime, as the Florida Panthers beat the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Saturday night.

The Panthers' win marked their third straight road victory, with Marchand's second goal coming 3 minutes into overtime.

Sam Reinhart had a goal and an assist, while Sam Bennett also scored for the Panthers.

Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 18 shots for his 207th career road win, moving him into third on the NHL list.

Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy had a goal and assist each for the Wild, with Boldy's short-handed goal putting Minnesota ahead 3-2 with 7:51 left in regulation.

But the Panthers tied it 62 seconds later on the same power play, with Bennett scoring the equalizer.

The Panthers improved to 15-0-3 in games decided by one goal this season and will play the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night.

The Wild, meanwhile, will host the Blackhawks on Tuesday night, with Minnesota's John Hynes coaching his 800th career game on Saturday.

Marchand's overtime goal was set up by Carter Verhaeghe on a 2-on-1 break, with Verhaeghe gaining control of the puck after Boldy was unable to control a pass.

The Panthers' win marked a significant milestone for Bobrovsky, who began the day tied with Ed Belfour.

Kaprizov extended his points streak to five games, combining for three goals and nine assists during that span.
