Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish are teaming up for the Gran Fondo Hincapie on October 19 to raise $1 million for US hurricane relief.

The Gran Fondo Hincapie was transformed into a recovery fundraiser after Hurricane Helene hit the southeastern US.

The event will use a new 19-mile loop within Greenville County to allow public safety officials in North Carolina to focus on emergency services.

Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish will participate in a Celebrity Chef Dinner, the Gran Fondo, and the After Party to support the fundraising efforts.

Rich Hincapie, CEO of Hincapie Sportswear, said there was no hesitation from either Cavendish or Wiggins to be part of the event.

The event will take place on October 19, and people can still register to ride or purchase tickets to the after-party, which will feature a live auction with items such as bicycles and jerseys signed by the Sirs.

Bradley Wiggins has been in Greenville all week, and he and Cavendish will ride together to support the hurricane relief efforts.

The Gran Fondo Hincapie aims to raise $1 million for hurricane relief, with funds directed to Polk County, North Carolina, one of the hard-hit areas.

On October 19, the event will start with a new 19-mile loop, and the after-party will feature a live auction with items donated by various people, including a $12,000 guitar.

Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish will be joined by former German standout Jan Ullrich at the event.

The Gran Fondo Hincapie has already raised $180,000, and the goal is to reach $1 million by the end of the event.

Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish will participate in the Celebrity Chef Dinner on Friday night, and they will ride together on Saturday to support the fundraising efforts.
