CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens crack ESPN’s top-10 WR list for 2025

CeeDee Lamb just landed at No. 6 on ESPN’s 2025 top-10 wide receiver rankings, joined by new Cowboys teammate George Pickens at No. 7. The back-to-back nods mark the first time since 2024 that a pair from the same team cracked the list.

What happened?

ESPN’s annual rankings, voted on by 70-plus coaches, scouts and executives, placed Lamb and Pickens side by side. Only the Rams’ Puka Nacua and Davante Adams matched that feat in 2025. Lamb played through a nagging ankle injury and still posted 1,077 yards and three scores in 14 games. Pickens meanwhile exploded for 93 catches, 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns across all 17 games, beating Lamb in first downs 73 to 43.

Lamb shut down any WR1-vs-WR2 talk last summer. “We’re both ones. There’s no A/B, none of that,” he said at training camp. The rankings back his stance. One AFC defensive coordinator told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler: “It’s Pickens” when asked which Cowboy opposing schemes must prioritize. Still, Lamb’s quiet 2025 season-his lowest output since his rookie year-didn’t stop voters from slotting him sixth overall.

The rankings confirm Dallas now fields one of the NFL’s two receiver rooms with multiple top-10 talents. For Dak Prescott, that means a stacked target corps heading into 2026.
