Charlotte Flair honors Tyrese Haliburton’s $10,000 donation to Scarlett Guillen’s family

Charlotte Flair publicly thanked Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton on Saturday night for a $10,000 donation to the family of 8-year-old Scarlett Guillen, Flair’s biggest fan who died after a rare brain cancer battle.

The moment happened at Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch in New York City on 19 July 2026. Flair told Fox News Digital she spotted Haliburton at the event and immediately thanked him in person.

What Charlotte Flair said about the donation

Flair called the donation “incredible” and said it covered Scarlett’s funeral costs. “I saw him tonight at the show and I was like, hey, thank you,” Flair told Fox News Digital. “You have no idea how much that meant to me, to the family. Just, what a great guy.”

Scarlett Guillen was featured in a WrestleMania 42 segment that highlighted her bond with Flair. Flair wore butterfly-themed ring gear in Scarlett’s honor and posted a tribute on X after the girl’s death.

Why Scarlett Guillen mattered to Charlotte Flair

Scarlett was Flair’s biggest fan and the two shared a bond that Flair said would never break. Flair’s X post read, in part, “Thank you for the light you brought into my life. You reminded all of us that a life isn’t measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind.”

Flair closed the tribute by calling Scarlett “our butterfly” and “our diamond girl,” promising she would never be forgotten.

How the wrestling world reacted

The donation and Flair’s public thanks drew swift praise across wrestling social feeds. Fans and peers highlighted the crossover moment between WWE and the NBA as a rare, heartfelt gesture.

Haliburton, 24, is a two-time NBA All-Star and the Indiana Pacers’ starting point guard. He has built a reputation for community involvement, including previous charitable donations.

Flair, 37, remains one of WWE’s top stars and continues to honor Scarlett’s memory in her ring gear and on social media.
