Clayton Oliver Seeks to Extend Dominance Against Hawthorn at the MCG

Clayton Oliver and Hawthorn are set to face off against the struggling Giants at the MCG, with the Australian rules footballer looking to extend his team's winning streak. On the back of consecutive losses, the Giants will be keen to replicate their 27-point win against Hawthorn in the opening round, but will need to find a way to counter the Hawks' exciting brand of football.

Clayton Oliver has recorded 32+ disposals in each of GWS's last four matches as an underdog, and will be looking to extend this streak against Hawthorn. With Hawthorn sitting pretty in third place, they should be winning these games against struggling interstate teams at the MCG if they are to be a contender come September.

Despite the absence of Jarman Impey and Josh Weddle, Hawthorn have the depth to cover these losses. The Giants, on the other hand, will be without powerhouse forward Jesse Hogan, which will undoubtedly make their task even more challenging.

Each of Hawthorn's last 11 home matches have gone UNDER the total match points line, with the total game points currently sitting at 170.5. Clayton Oliver has been in scintillating form, and at 2.07, he is a good bet to record 30+ disposals. Lachie Whitfield has also been impressive, recording 25+ disposals in each of GWS's last 14 matches as an underdog in Victoria.

With Hawthorn's home form looking strong, they should be confident of taking down the struggling Giants. Clayton Oliver will be looking to extend his team's winning streak, and with his impressive form, he is a good bet to record 30+ disposals. The match is set to take place at the MCG, with Hawthorn looking to continue their winning ways against the struggling Giants.

Our tip for the match is Hawthorn to win with over 40 points, available at 3.25 with Unibet. Clayton Oliver to record 28+ disposals, combined with Lachie Whitfield and Massimo D'Ambrosio to record 20+ disposals, and Will Day to kick 1+ goals, is also a good bet at 10.25 with Unibet.
