Cooper Flagg returns to UMaine for third youth basketball camp in August

Cooper Flagg is bringing his offseason skills clinic to Orono this August, teaming up with brother Ace for the third straight year at the University of Maine.

What’s happening at the camp

The Flagg brothers are running a two-day youth basketball camp on August 15-16 at Memorial Gym on the UMaine campus. Morning sessions run 10 a.m.-1 p.m., while afternoons take place from 2-5 p.m. Kids aged 6-13 can sign up for either slot.

Registration is open now at $249 before fees. Every camper leaves with a camp photo with the Flaggs and a limited-edition T-shirt.

Ace Flagg suits up for the UMaine men’s basketball team. Cooper Flagg, meanwhile, just wrapped a standout rookie season with the Dallas Mavericks. The 2025 top overall pick averaged 21 points per game-the best mark of any NBA rookie in 2025-26.

Flagg also became the youngest player ever to drop 50 points in a single NBA game. He’s now the second-youngest to reach 1,000 career points, trailing only LeBron James. Last season he claimed Rookie of the Year honors at age 19, the second-youngest winner in league history.
