Dustin Johnson Plays Strong Round at LIV Golf Chicago
Dustin Johnson played a strong round at LIV Golf Chicago, teaming up with Thomas Pieters.
The event took place on the Thursday prior to the LIV Golf Chicago tournament.
Dan and his crew played in the LIV pro-am, grouped with the 4 Aces team, and walked 18 holes with Johnson and Pieters.
They placed 9th as a team, but the experience was unforgettable.
Johnson and Pieters played well, but Dean Burmester and his team Stinger GC took home the titles.
Burmester's win was his second LIV title, with his first coming in Miami in 2024.
The PGA Tour's first FedEx Cup event also came to a close, with Justin Rose avenging his Masters playoff loss.
Rose clipped J.J. Spaun in a dramatic three-hole playoff at the FedEx St.Jude Championship.
Both golfers made par on the first hole, birdie on the second, and Rose brought it home with a huge birdie on the final playoff hole.
Unfortunately, the biggest story of the tournament was another collapse from Tommy Fleetwood.
Despite leading for much of the tournament, including a two-stroke lead on Sunday, Fleetwood fell short of the playoff.
