Emma McKeon Shares Relationship Update Ahead of Paris Olympics

Emma McKeon has shared a sweet relationship update with boyfriend Cody Simpson ahead of the Paris Olympics in July.

She credits fellow swimmer Simpson and her family for her happiness, reflecting on how she has changed since the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The things that make her happy are her relationship and family, she told Stellar.

She has been named 2024's Young Australian of the Year and a UNICEF ambassador, realizing life is big and there are other fulfilling things to do.

But it also makes her realize the satisfaction of winning is great, but it ends quickly, especially in sport.

She and Simpson began dating while training for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and have been the centre of interest since going public with their relationship.

McKeon spoke of her love for Simpson, who is also a music star, during a birthday tribute in January, posting behind-the-scenes photos of their lives together.

She won four golds at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, held in 2021, and seven medals in total, the most by any female swimmer at a single Olympic Games, as of July 2021.

And she posted a couple of videos, one showing Simpson missing everything except the gutter during a 10-pin bowling effort.

So McKeon's relationship with Simpson is going strong, and she is focused on the Paris Olympics.

But she also knows that swimming is not forever, and she has to be happy outside of it.

She has achieved her dream of winning an Olympic gold medal, and now she is looking to do other things that feel fulfilling, like her work with UNICEF.

McKeon and Simpson have been together since 2022, and their relationship has been going well, with McKeon often posting about him on social media.

As she prepares for the Paris Olympics, McKeon is feeling happy and focused, thanks to her relationship with Simpson and her family.
