Emma Raducanu misses £3.6m Wimbledon payday with £14m net worth revealed

Emma Raducanu’s bank balance stays healthy after she pulled out of Wimbledon 2026 with a stress fracture, costing her a potential £3.6m payday and ranking points.

On the eve of Wimbledon 2026, Emma Raducanu withdrew with a stress fracture in her right shin. The All England Club confirmed her exit hours after she spoke to the media at the grounds on 29 June. Raducanu had planned to face Antonia Ruzic on Court One the next day. Instead, she posted on Instagram: “I’ve done everything possible to get to the start line tomorrow but after a final scan tonight the niggle has developed into a stress fracture.”

Had she played, Raducanu would have chased a slice of the £64.2m prize fund at Wimbledon 2026. The singles champion now earns £3.6m, up from £1.8m in 2025, while runners-up bank £1.8m. Even reaching the second round nets £126,000, and beaten quarter-finalists collect £480,000. Her withdrawal also blocks potential ranking points that could lift her back inside the world’s top 100.

Raducanu’s estimated net worth stands at £14m, built from on-court earnings near £5m and a string of lucrative off-court deals. Her biggest payday remains the £1.8m US Open title in 2021. Recent cheques include £136,000 for reaching the Queen’s Club final in June 2026. Brand partners include Dior, Tiffany & Co, Wilson, Evian, HSBC and British Airways. She previously had a long-term deal with Vodafone.

Raducanu faces an uncertain US Open 2026 start after the shin injury. The tournament begins on 24 August. She told fans: “Playing at Wimbledon in front of a home crowd means everything to me.” Her team will now manage her return, aiming to restore fitness before the hard-court swing. Until then, her finances stay strong, but her ranking slide continues.
