Errol Spence Jr. Returns to Fight Tim Tszyu on July 26

2026-06-23 · Errol Spence Jr. · Player Focus

Errol Spence Jr. will fight Tim Tszyu on July 26 in Australia, ending a three-year layoff.

The 36-year-old Errol Spence Jr. is motivated to prove doubters wrong after a crushing ninth-round defeat to Terence Crawford in 2023.

He has since switched to trainer Ronnie Shields after leaving long-time trainer Derrick James.

Tszyu has home advantage and has won twice since being dismantled by Sebastian Fundora in seven rounds of their rematch last July.

Errol Spence Jr. admits he's excited to face Tszyu and prove he still has something left.

He told All The Smoke Fight, "I feel like I've got something [left], I need some excitement."

The card will also feature former world champions Jermall Charlo and Stephen Fulton Jr.

Charlo will face Australia's Koen Mazoudier, while Fulton Jr. will face Queensland native Liam Wilson.

Errol Spence Jr. is looking to bounce back from his defeat to Crawford and prove he's still a top contender.

He will face Tszyu at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on July 26.

The fight will be Errol Spence Jr.'s first in three years, and he's looking to make a statement.

He's never taken a tune-up fight and is looking to prove himself against Tszyu.

The odds are against him, but Errol Spence Jr. is excited to prove the doubters wrong.
