White explained why he's not interested in seeing McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather 2 during an interview on Friday. "Here's my problem with the Mayweather-McGregor fight," White said. "First of all, the first one, leading into it, I was just like, 'This is crazy.' We've seen that fight before. When you talk about the Max [Holloway] fight, Conor won the fight when they first fought. Max won this fight. You have a trilogy there or whatever. There was nothing about the Mayweather fight that makes me say, 'You know, if we did that again, there might be a different outcome.'"

White's comments come as McGregor is advised to transition to boxing when he returns from his latest injury layoff. White recently offered Mayweather a lifeline amid concerning reports about the former five-weight world champion's financial situation. "Yeah that's a tough one," White said when asked about the 5-0 ring icon. "I've talked to him about it, but I don't know enough about it. You hear all these different stories, and I think you have to wait to see how this thing is going to play out in court for him. But when somebody works as hard as he did and amasses the type of wealth that he had and then they lose it, or it gets stolen, or whatever the deal is, it's horrible, and it happens a lot in professional sports. So who knows? Anything is possible, and maybe we could do something to figure it out for him."

White's offer to help Mayweather still stands, but it appears the UFC boss won't be giving him another fight against McGregor.
