Jade Carey Competes at U.S. Classic in Hartford This Weekend

Jade Carey will compete at the U.S. Classic in Hartford this weekend, a premier gymnastics event featuring top American competitors.

What to Expect at the U.S. Classic

The U.S. Classic will return to Hartford for the second time in three years, bringing many of the biggest stars in women's gymnastics to Connecticut's capital city. The event will be held at PeoplesBank Arena on Friday and Saturday, with the senior competition on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Notable Competitors

Jade Carey, a member of the United States' historic 2024 Olympic team, headlines this week's competitors. Other notable names include Leanne Wong, a traveling alternate for the Olympic team and the No. 2 overall finisher at last year's U.S. Championships, Dulcy Caylor, and social media star Katelyn Ohashi.

How to Watch the U.S. Classic

The event will air live on NBCSN on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and stream on Peacock. NBC will televise highlights of the event on Sunday from 4-6 p.m.

The Tumble Street Fan Fest

Hartford's famous, pedestrian-only Pratt Street will host a full day of festivities for gymnastics fans from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. before the main event begins. An outdoor pop-up from USA Gymnastics will headline a series of free activities and activations designed for fans of all ages.

History of the U.S. Classic in Hartford

Held annually since 1983, the U.S. Classic has found a frequent home in Hartford, selecting the Connecticut capital as a host four times. Only the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates has hosted the competition more often.

Tickets and Schedule

Tickets for the U.S. Classic in Hartford are available at PeoplesBankArena.com or usagymclassic.com. The two-day event will begin with the Hopes Championships on Friday from 6-8:30 p.m., featuring 11-12 and 13-14-year-old competitors. The junior women's competition will run from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, showcasing many of the best young talents in American gymnastics.

The event will take place on July 17-18, 2026, at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut.
