Jessica Pegula Faces Aryna Sabalenka in Wuhan Open Semifinal

Jessica Pegula will face Aryna Sabalenka in the Wuhan Open semifinal on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 6:30 a.m. ET. Sabalenka leads their head-to-head 8-2.

The winner will advance to the final of the Dongfeng Voyah Wuhan Open.

Jessica Pegula reached the semifinal by defeating Katerina Siniakova 2-6, 6-0, 6-3 on Friday.

Pegula has gone to a third set for a seventh consecutive match.

She previously defeated No. 9 Ekaterina Alexandrova and fellow American Hailey Baptiste.

Aryna Sabalenka extended her winning streak at Wuhan to 20 matches with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over eighth-seeded Elena Rybakina.

Sabalenka broke Rybakina's serve three times in the 1-hour, 25-minute match.

The match will air on Tennis Channel and stream on DirecTV, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, and Sling.

The Optics Valley International Tennis Center in Wuhan, China, will host the semifinal match.
