Jimmy Butler Shares ACL Rehab Update, Eyes Warriors Return

Jimmy Butler is counting down the days until he can return to the court with the Warriors. On Thursday, he shared an update on his ACL rehab, stating he's trying to get back to basketball as soon as possible.

Butler suffered a torn right ACL over five months ago, which significantly impacted the Warriors' 2025-26 NBA season. They had won 12 of their last 16 games before his injury but then lost their next two games.

Butler is motivated to attack his rehab and get back on the court. He expressed his frustration with being restricted from playing basketball, but he's focused on his recovery.

The Warriors had a 23-15 record with Butler in the lineup last season and 20-13 when both Butler and Steph Curry played in the same game. After Butler's injury, the team's record suffered, finishing 37-45 and missing the playoffs.

Butler believes the Warriors can win at a high level with Curry on the team. He said, "We got Steph on our team? Shit, we're going to win." Butler is a firm believer in Curry's talent and thinks they have a good chance of success.

Warriors owner Joe Lacob also expressed his commitment to the team, stating they will do whatever it takes to climb back to the top. The Warriors recently added Yaxel Lendeborg and Lajae Jones in the NBA draft, and veteran center Al Horford declined his player option.

Butler is eager to be Curry's co-star again and get back on the court. He's working hard to recover from his injury and is looking forward to the 2026-27 season.
