Josh Allen poised to win multiple Super Bowls, predicts 3x champ Jason Garrett

Josh Allen is **knocking on the door** of Super Bowl glory, and a three-time champion believes the Buffalo Bills quarterback will soon bust through it.

What Garrett predicts

Former NFL quarterback and head coach Jason Garrett, who won three Super Bowls in four years with the Dallas Cowboys, made a bold forecast for Allen on *The Dan Patrick Show* on 18 June. “Josh Allen will win a Super Bowl, and I believe he’s gonna win multiple Super Bowls,” Garrett said. “He’s knocking on the door.”

Garrett pushed back on host Dan Patrick’s suggestion that Allen struggles in primetime. Patrick had called Allen “a regular season quarterback,” but Garrett cited Hall of Famer John Elway’s late-career breakthrough as proof that narratives can shift. Elway, part of the 1983 QB class, played three Super Bowls before turning 30 but finally won his first Lombardi at 37.

The Manning comparison

Allen turned 30 in May, the same age Peyton Manning was when he broke through to win a Super Bowl. Garrett drew a direct line between the two. “Let’s go back 20 years,” he said. “You’re doing the show and we’re having the same conversation about Peyton Manning. God, he throws all these touchdown passes, but in the big games, New England knows how to shut him down.”

Allen is actually ahead of Manning statistically through eight seasons. In November, Allen threw six touchdowns to surpass Manning’s 288 career TDs as a player 30 or younger. Allen also owns an 8-7 postseason record, while Manning started 3-6 before his breakthrough.

Why the timing fits

Garrett’s prediction lands as the Bills prepare for training camp. Buffalo opens practice on 29 July at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford. The forecast arrives amid rising expectations for a franchise that has reached the playoffs six straight years but has yet to reach the Super Bowl under Allen.

Allen’s playoff résumé includes 38 total touchdowns in 15 games, and his mobility and arm have made him a dual-threat nightmare. Garrett’s confidence reflects a growing belief that the Bills’ window is wide open-and that Allen is the QB to close it.
