Josh Allen Returns to Buffalo Bills with New Coaching Staff

2026-06-28 · Josh Allen · Player Focus

Josh Allen will return to the Buffalo Bills this summer with a new coaching staff and a renewed goal to win the Super Bowl.

The Bills have overhauled their team after a playoff loss to the Denver Broncos, firing head coach Sean McDermott and elevating offensive coordinator Joe Brady to the top post.

The team has also brought in new talent, including wide receiver DJ Moore, who was acquired in a trade with the Chicago Bears.

Allen spoke about the new-look team, saying they have a lot of work to do over the summer to gel and work toward their goal of winning the Super Bowl.

He stated that the expectations for the team haven’t changed despite the change in coaching staff, with the Bills still aiming for a Super Bowl victory.

The Bills have made significant changes to their offense, especially the wide receiving corps, which struggled at times last season.

Allen is excited to add Moore, who he first met when they were rookies coming into the league in 2018, and believes he will bring veteran leadership and production to the team.

The Bills will return for training camp on July 28, where they will begin to build team camaraderie and work towards their goal of winning the Super Bowl.

Allen will be playing his first NFL season without Sean McDermott at the helm, but he is looking forward to working with the new coaching staff and his new teammates.

The Bills' new stadium and coaching staff will provide a fresh start for the team, and Allen is eager to get to work and make a push for the Super Bowl.

Allen's experience and leadership will be **key** to the team's success, and he is ready to take on the challenge of leading the Bills to a championship.
