Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay will take on Brian Cage, Hechicero and Jake Doyle of the Don Callis Family. The six-man tag is set just days before Omega defends his AEW World Championship against Kevin Knight at AEW Redemption on Saturday.

Why this matters for Kenny Omega

Omega’s involvement in the tag match comes as he prepares for two high-stakes singles bouts. On Saturday he faces Knight in a World title defense at AEW Redemption in Nashville. The next weekend he also collides with Ospreay at AEW All In in London. The trios bout adds another layer to the growing friction between Omega and the Callis Family storyline.

Knight’s TNT Title defense and Allin’s rematch

The card also features TNT Champion Kevin Knight defending against Darby Allin. Allin lost the belt to Knight at Double or Nothing in May after Knight turned on him. At Forbidden Door in June, Allin got revenge by blasting Knight with an exploding backpack. Now Allin seeks to reclaim the TNT Title while Knight eyes a double championship by beating Omega at Redemption.
