Kenny Omega Wins AEW World Title in Dramatic All In London Victory

2026-07-13 · Kenny Omega · Match Report

Kenny Omega defeated MJF on 13 Jul 2026 at All In London to win his second AEW World Championship, capping a brutal, high-stakes main event with help from Will Ospreay. The victory marks Omega’s return to the top of AEW after a long championship drought, and it sets up an immediate showdown with Ospreay at Wembley Stadium.

Omega and MJF traded brutal offenses for over 30 minutes, with neither man able to secure a clean win. Omega hit a Moonsault off a lifeguard post, a Drop Kick from the top rope, and a Terminator Dive to the outside. MJF countered with a Package Piledriver and a Tombstone on a chair, injuring Omega’s knee. The champion nearly won with a Heatseeker, but Omega kicked out at two.

As MJF reached for the Dynamite Diamond Ring, Ospreay sprinted to the ring-not to help Omega, but to strike him with a low blow and use the AEW title belt as a weapon. The interference distracted MJF long enough for Omega to recover. Ospreay’s betrayal stunned the crowd, but it gave Omega the opening he needed.

After three V-Triggers to MJF’s neck, Omega locked in the One-Winged Angel in the center of the ring. MJF fought, but the damage was too much. Omega pinned him cleanly at 32:17, raising the AEW World Championship high as pyro exploded behind him. The win made Omega a two-time champion, tying him with MJF for most reigns in AEW history.

Omega’s title reign begins under a cloud of controversy. He defeated MJF with help from the man he’s scheduled to face at Wembley Stadium-Will Ospreay. The betrayal raises immediate questions: Was this a setup? Is Ospreay now Omega’s ally, or is this a trap? Fans are already speculating about a double-cross at the biggest show of the year.

The victory also redefines Omega’s legacy. At 38, he’s not just surviving in AEW-he’s dominating it. His ability to outlast MJF, one of the most ruthless champions in company history, proves his resilience. The AEW World Title is back in his hands, and the road ahead is more dangerous than ever.
