Magic Johnson Weighs In On Giannis Trade

Magic Johnson praised the Miami Heat's front office for acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks.

And with the addition of Antetokounmpo, the Heat's offense is expected to improve significantly.

But the Heat still have work to do to fill out their depth around Antetokounmpo.

So the Heat's front office will need to make some moves to strengthen their roster.

The Heat's new lineup features a trio of Portis, Antetokounmpo, and Adebayo, which could be a formidable force in the Eastern Conference.

Antetokounmpo finished in the top 10 of Defensive Player of the Year voting every season from 2018-19 to 2024-25, including winning the award in 2019-20.

The Heat's defense will be built around Antetokounmpo and Adebayo, who have both shown their defensive prowess in the past.
