Martin Truex Jr Joins Prime's NASCAR Coverage

2026-06-23 · Martin Truex Jr · Player Focus

Martin Truex Jr is set to join Prime's NASCAR coverage alongside Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon, starting with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday.

Prime Video begins its second season of NASCAR coverage, building on the success of its first season, which was praised for its polished production and innovative features.

The Burn Bar, a popular feature from last season, will return, analyzing thousands of performance data points to illustrate fuel consumption and efficiency throughout the race.

Prime Video will also use its double-box commercial format, providing uninterrupted live coverage of green-flag racing, and fans will have on-demand access to features like Key Moments and Rapid Recaps.

More than 70 cameras will be deployed at each race, including in-car and POV cameras equipped with microphones, all connected by miles of fiber optic cable.

Every race will be produced in 1080p native High Dynamic Range (HDR) with surround sound and a proprietary, end-to-end livestreaming solution that delivers ultra-low latency and eliminates drift.

The primary race broadcast team remains intact, with Adam Alexander returning as play-by-play announcer alongside Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. and crew chief Steve Letarte.

Martin Truex Jr, Mark Martin, and Jeff Gordon will bring their expertise and insights to the coverage, providing fans with a unique perspective on the sport, as they analyze the races and share their thoughts on the teams and drivers.

The coverage will also include pre- and post-race coverage, with emotion, analysis, storytelling, and enough airtime to let moments breathe naturally, as seen in the 2026 season, which started on May 19.
