Mikel Arteta, the manager, is keen to bolster his squad this summer, and views Gibbs-White as an upgrade on his current options.

However, Nottingham Forest's reluctance to entertain a move could put clubs off making a bid, with his price tag set to be "huge".

Forest would prefer to let go of fringe players to raise money, rather than selling Gibbs-White.

The manager and the owner do not want to see the squad weakened with both Elliot Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White leaving, so Gibbs-White's exit is highly unlikely.

Nottingham Forest's determination to keep Gibbs-White is clear, and they will demand a high price for him, as stated by Brown.
