Pedri Suffers Knee Injury, Ruled Out of Euro 2024 Semifinal

Pedri is officially ruled out of the Euro 2024 semifinal with a knee injury, suffered in the match against Germany.

The Spanish Football Federation confirmed the 21-year-old midfielder has a grade two sprain in his left knee.

Pedri limped off the field in tears after a couple of hefty challenges from Toni Kroos, and was replaced by Dani Olmo in the eighth minute.

Olmo scored in the 51st minute to give Spain a 1-0 lead over Germany, and Spain won the match 2-1 after extra time.

The injury normally takes several weeks to recover from, so Pedri will play no part in Tuesday's semifinal against France or the final five days later.
