Charlotte Flair recently spoke about her relationship with her father, Ric Flair, and how she now has a better understanding of his love for professional wrestling. During an appearance on WLAN, the 40-year-old noted that she now had a much better understanding of her father and his love for the sport.

Flair stated that she didn't understand her father during her earlier days in WWE. However, after three years, when he became her manager, she gained a new perspective on his love for wrestling. "I definitely understand my dad now more and why wrestling was his first love and how much it became a part of him," Flair said.

This new understanding has allowed Charlotte Flair to have a closer bond with her father. She noted that when she first started in WWE, she didn't think her father knew how to connect with her because it's just something you have to go through, live through, and work through.

"But I still don't ask for his advice 'cause I'm like 'Dad, you're so freaking biased. Like tell me what I did wrong. He's like 'Honey, you can do nothing wrong.' I'm like 'You are not helping me at all,'" Flair added.
