Rodri Hernandez Faces Uncertain Man City Future

Rodri Hernandez's future at Manchester City is uncertain, according to his father Antonio Hernandez, despite the midfielder's return to regular action.

Rodri Hernandez overcame the worst of his injury issues to feature regularly again for Manchester City.

He won the Ballon d'Or in 2024, having been instrumental to Man City's success as well as La Roja's Euros triumph.

The Spain international spent the majority of last season sidelined with an ACL injury.

He has missed 53 Premier League matches, with City winning 31 of those, and a league win rate with Rodri Hernandez in the team of 71.3% (62 wins from 87 matches).

Rodri Hernandez is eager to go to the World Cup, training really well, and his family has absolute confidence in him.

He came back to playing and in his first match, he was almost the same Rodri Hernandez he used to be.

Now his family is asking him to manage his efforts to get back into form and be ready for the World Cup.

Rodri Hernandez's father knows nothing about his son's future plans, saying "history has yet to be written".
