Roger Federer Returns to Tennis in One-Off Event

Roger Federer is set to return to the tennis court for a one-off event in December.

The Swiss star will join Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka for an exhibition match on December 19 at Palexpo in Geneva.

Federer hung up his racket professionally in September 2022, while Murray officially retired in August 2024.

Stan Wawrinka announced 2026 will be his last year as an active player.

The event will celebrate Wawrinka's incredible career, with Federer and Murray among his closest friends on the ATP circuit.

Wawrinka received a wildcard for Wimbledon, giving him the chance to add to his three Grand Slam titles.

The veteran players will play an exhibition event to say thank you and goodbye to Wawrinka's fans.

He will continue playing semi-regularly until the end of the 2026 campaign.
