Ruben Dias Wins PFA Community Champion Award

Ruben Dias has been voted PFA Community Champion at the 2025 Northwest Football Awards.

The Manchester City central defender was recognized for his outstanding commitment to community work.

Dias was nominated alongside Everton's Seamus Coleman, Alisson Becker of Liverpool, and Manchester United's Amad Diallo.

He proved a worthy winner, demonstrating his tireless champion and advocacy of City in the Community's inspirational work.

Dias has visited various City in the Community sessions, including a BTEC session and a Premier League Inspires session.

He has also helped raise the profile of City in the Community by recording special announcements on matchday tram and bus routes.

The award was chosen by the NWFA judging panel and the fans via a public vote.

Dias expressed his gratitude, saying "This is a real honour for me."

He approached City In The Community last year to be more involved in the charity's work.

Dias was inspired by the impact City in the Community has on people's lives in Greater Manchester.
