Sean O'Malley Predicts Conor McGregor Fight Outcome

2026-07-07 · Sean O'Malley · Player Focus

Sean O'Malley predicts Conor McGregor will finish Max Holloway quickly.

The former UFC bantamweight champion joked about a 13-second knockout.

He then settled on a more realistic assessment of the welterweight fight.

On paper, the matchup pits two different striking styles against each other.

Holloway has the highest significant strike output in UFC history.

O'Malley said: "I feel like Conor's going to crack him. He's going to look good. He's going to look fast."

But he also thinks the five rounds could play an issue for McGregor.

Max Holloway might start taking over in the later rounds.

Tom Aspinall, the UFC heavyweight champion, also picked Conor McGregor to stop Max Holloway.

Aspinall believes McGregor's power is the one attribute that rarely disappears with age.

He thinks McGregor just needs one shot to win the fight.

Aspinall favors a McGregor win, but acknowledges Holloway's activity and durability make him a dangerous opponent.
