Trevor Lawrence Organizes Team Bonding Trip

2026-06-29 · Trevor Lawrence · Player Focus

Trevor Lawrence, the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, has organized an annual summer trip with teammates to build camaraderie and chemistry. On June 23, the team concluded their offseason workout program.

The trip aims to strengthen ties and build extra chemistry among teammates, allowing them to get to know each other beyond their four hours of daily meetings.

Trevor Lawrence started this tradition in his second year with the Jaguars, and it has continued ever since, with trips to Arizona and the Bahamas in recent years.

The trip helps build a connection between Lawrence and his teammates, particularly the new receivers, which has been beneficial in turning the page on a turbulent rookie season.

Former receiver Dyami Brown vlogged the trip last year, giving an inside look at the extra chemistry built during the time away, with kicker Cam Little also making the trip in 2025.

The Jaguars have continuity among their starting pass catchers for the first time in Lawrence's career, with the same receivers who started against the Buffalo Bills in the playoff game expected to start against Cleveland on September 13.

This continuity allows Lawrence to breeze through the offseason with a familiarity he hasn’t quite had during his career, with the additions of Christian Kirk, Zay Jones, Calvin Ridley, Gabe Davis, Brian Thomas Jr., and Travis Hunter in previous years.

The team will return for training camp in late July, followed by the preseason and regular season, with Lawrence's annual summer trip playing a significant role in building team chemistry and camaraderie
