Tyson Fury Signs for Heavyweight Super-Fight

2026-06-23 · Tyson Fury · Player Focus

Tyson Fury's heavyweight super-fight with Anthony Joshua is on for 2026.

Frank Warren insists no decision has been made on the venue.

The British stars have agreed to box later in 2026 but no date or venue has been confirmed.

Mounting speculation suggests the contest could be held in the US rather than the UK.

Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, told Sky Sports that nothing's been decided yet.

Fury and Joshua must win their warm-up bouts, with Joshua taking on Kristian Prenga on July 25.

Fury is looking to box again before meeting Joshua, but there is as yet no confirmed date or venue.

The fight is expected to take place in late autumn, potentially in November.

Warren is adamant that Fury-Joshua will go ahead this year, as long as both win their respective warm-up bouts.

Frank Warren stated "it's on, the fight is on - unless either of them get beaten in these two fights".

Warren added that everybody will get satisfied once the warm-up bouts are out of the way.

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are both former world champions and long-time rivals.

They have been on the brink of boxing before, only to see previous efforts come to nothing.

But Fury vs Joshua could still potentially take place in a British stadium.

Warren's comments will be a relief to fans who have been waiting for the fight to be confirmed.

The heavyweight mega-fight is one of the most anticipated bouts in recent years.

Fury and Joshua are expected to put on a show, with both fighters looking to prove themselves.

The fight will be broadcast on Netflix, who will have their preference on the venue.

But for now, fans will have to wait and see where the fight will take place.

As of Tuesday 23 June 2026, there is no confirmed venue for the fight.

But with Warren's assurance that the fight will go ahead, fans can start looking forward to it.
