Usain Bolt, the eight-time Olympic champion, took his seat in Wimbledon’s Royal Box on Friday as the 2026 Championships rolled into Day 5 at SW19.

Bolt arrived with his partner Kasi Bennett and their three children: daughter Olympia and twin sons Saint and Thunder. Hollywood actor Joseph Fiennes and his wife Maria Dieguez were also in the box, along with comedian Rob Brydon. Former UK prime minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty rounded out the high-profile group.

The Royal Box at Wimbledon is reserved for royalty, dignitaries and elite guests. Bolt’s presence added a sprinting legend to the mix as Centre Court hosted Novak Djokovic against Arthur Rinderknech. Djokovic, chasing a record 25th Grand Slam title, was the main draw for the crowd.

Princess of Wales, patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, joined the queue on Thursday. She chatted with overnight campers, posed for selfies and even helped staff sell tickets. On Friday she returned, dressed in a tailored blue suit, greeting fans and handing out tickets with a smile.

The Royal Box guests were set to watch Aryna Sabalenka, the world No 1, face Jelena Ostapenko in a marquee clash. With Djokovic still in contention for a record haul, the Championships kept the focus on Centre Court and its star-studded visitors.
