Victor Osimhen receives €120m offer from Saudi club
Victor Osimhen has received a €120m offer from a Saudi Arabian club, according to Turkish transfer insider Serhan Türk.
The offer is one of two nine-figure bids Galatasaray have received for the Nigerian striker, with the other coming from a European club.
Galatasaray are determined to keep Osimhen, valuing him at €150m, and have no intention of opening transfer discussions with interested parties.
Osimhen scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in 33 matches across all competitions last season.
The Turkish Süper Lig champions are preparing a new long-term contract running until 2029 with a significant salary package for Osimhen.
Galatasaray are also planning to hand the forward the captain’s armband following the expected departure of Mauro Icardi.
The club is targeting the signing of a top-class midfielder to strengthen their UEFA Champions League credentials.
Manchester United have ruled out a move for Osimhen due to Galatasaray’s massive asking price and the striker’s salary.
Osimhen has consistently been associated with a desire to remain in European football, with a move to the Premier League described as among his long-term ambitions.
The transfer saga surrounding Osimhen shows no sign of reaching a swift resolution, with Galatasaray immovable and European suitors yet to meet their valuation.
